The President of Congress Mallikarjun Kharge was released on Thursday after Mrs. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital in Bengalur underwent the implantation procedure of the cardiac.
84 -year -old opposition leader in Rajya Sabha was brought to the hospital on 30 September for a general medical examination after the discomfort in breathing. The doctors who explored him found that he had a low heart rate and recommended implanting a pacemaker. Was admitted to the hospital.
“We found that all its other parameters are normal, with the exception of low heart rate. We recommended the implantation of pacemaker and was scheduled for October 1. On Thursday it was moved to the ICU room and released at night.”
Will continue to work from October 3
His son Priyank Kharge, who is Karnataka’s development of rural and Panchayat Raj, IT-BT Minister, said on Thursday the progress of the cardiosterimulator was gradually completed. “It was a short and smaller procedure,” he said.
According to Mr. Priyank Kharge, his father is expected to continue his work from October 3 and will participate in all planned obligations.
He told Presperson that doctors recommended the pacemaker to be implanted because of age -related problems and breathless. “They said it was necessary to stabilize the heart rate. In addition, there is no problem.”
Mr. Priyank Kharge pointed out that his father was traveling to various parts of India, he said he had a great responsibility to be the president of the congress, and fulfilling responsibility in the current situation is certainly a difficult task.
CM, PM WISH Speedy Recovery
On Wednesday, Mr. Kharge visited the main Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiaha. On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge and wished him a speedy recovery.
