BJP claimed that the PC Ghosh justice was appointed a probe into a controversial irrigation scheme of Kaleshwaram, which revealed only “several facts” on Wednesday and therefore guaranteed a complete CBI investigation on Wednesday.
The Party of Tellangan and the former MLC N. Ramchander Rao also asked why the Congress Government did not arrest “politics” and “suppliers” who participated in the construction and maintenance of the project after only “some officials”.

The former MLC also wanted the state government to consider the construction of a separate project at the confluence of the Ward and Waingang river near Tummadihatti to solve the lack of water in the region and irrigate about 2.5 lakh acres.
If the Congress Government prepares a detailed report on the project (DPR) and sends it to the Central Government to approval, it would be complete cooperation, he said. The BJP leader said that the Congress Government is no different from the previous regime and diverted the funds paid by the Center for the Development of Villages for other purposes.
