Prime Minister Narendra Modi mourned on Wednesday over the loss of lives due to the landslide Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir Katra.
He called the “sad” incident and PM Modi also wanted a speedy recovery for those who were injured in the deadly landslide near Vaishno Devi, which was said on Tuesday.
“Loss of life due to land landslide on the way to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi is sad. My thoughts are with surviving families. He can recover the injured first,” he said in post on X.
Prime Minister Modi noted that the administration helps the affected individuals.
“Management helps all disabled. My prayers for everyone’s safety and well -being.”
President Droucadi Murmu also expressed grief for the deaths of Vaishno Devi.
“The tragic incident of the death of several dedicated in land landslides on the pilgrimage path to Mata Vaishno Devi is very disturbing. I express my deepest condolences to the surviving families and pray for the success of relief and rescue,” she said in post X.
32 killed in vaishno devi landslide
On Tuesday, heavy rains caused deadly soil on the route to the Temple of Vaishno Devi, while at least 32 people were dying in the incident, officials said on Wednesday. The number of victims of landslides Vaishno Devi was previously suspended at the age of 30.
