
The English Premier League announced the opening of the office in India, Mumbai. The new office will build on the long -term efforts of the Premier League to involve local fans and partners and promotion of football in India while supporting the continuing growth of the league and its clubs.
Premier League has a long history of work in India to engage its millions of passionate fans and football communities. The local League level has been operating its Premier Skills program in cooperation with the British Council to support the development of community football workforce since 2007. Over the past 18 years, the program has been delivered in more than 18 Indian countries and has been supporting more than 7,300 coaches, session and educators, benefiting 124,000 young people.
At the elite level of the Premier League since 2014, he has been working closely with the Indian Super League (ISL) and shares knowledge and expertise in all areas of the elite game, including administration, youth development and the development of coaches and referees. In 2019, the Premier League started another Cup gene, an elite youth youth tournament organized in cooperation with Isl and Reliance Foundation to support the development of youth talents. The sixth edition of the tournament will take place in Mumbai in May 2025 and will present youth teams of the Isl, which compete against the U19 teams from the Premier League clubs.
The Premier League India Office also strengthens the league commitment to support football development across India, at the level of elite and locals, through strengthened cooperation with football authorities and managing authorities. The office will also focus on creating several ways to directly participate in fans in the region through events and partner activities and to work closely with the long -term broadcasting partner of Soutar.

In 2019, the Premier League opened its first international office in Singapore, which was primarily established in the fight against the Piracy of Premier League content and the support of broadcast partners. In July 2023, the league opened its office in New York to continue to develop the possibilities of involving fans in the United States and closely cooperate with its long -term broadcasting partner of NBC Sports. In October 2024, the Premier League announced the opening of the Beijing office to continue building on its work in the region to engage fans and partners and support the development of the local level game.
