Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Saturday (June 28, 2025) argued that the preamble of the Constitution was “non -modest” because it is a “seed” on which the document is growing.
He said the preamble had no other institutions to change, with the exception of India.
“But this preamble was changed 42. The 1976 Constitutional Act of 1976,” he said that the words “socialist”, “secular” and “integrity” were added.
“We have to think,” he said, adding that Brus Ambedkar was doing careful work at the constitution and had to “surely concentrate” on it.
RSS requires revision
His remarks on the opening of the book came here after the RSS called on the words “socialist” and “secular” in the preamble of the Constitution on Thursday, with the fact that they were included in an emergency and were never part of the Constitution elaborated by ambked.
Congress and other opposition parties killed the Secretary General of the RSS DATTATRYA Hosabaleo’s call for a national debate on whether the concepts of “secular” and “socialist” should remain in the preamble and identify it “political opportunism” and “deliberate attack” on the soul of the Constitution.
Mr. Hosabale’s strong playground for an overview of two words embedded in the constitution during emergency days (1975-77) was kicked out by a political line, an article published in the organizer of the RSS magazine, which is not a thoughtfulness of the Constitution, but to restore its “original spirit” exempt from “Congress”.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh tried to defend the challenge of the second top official Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and said that any citizen who thinks the right approves because everyone knows that these words were not part of the original constitution written by Dr. BR AMBEDKAR.
