The health of society depends on the health of the individual, but it is unfortunate that health care is increasingly inaccessible to people on the day, said State President Praja Arrogya Vedik (Pav) on Tuesday.
Sai Prasad, who addressed the media together with the Secretary General of the NTR district Pav G. Vijay Prakash in Vijayawada, emphasized the alarming trend of the poor that the poor are pushed into poverty due to deteriorating quality of government health and the increase in privatization in the medical sector.
He criticized the establishment of 10 new government medical faculties in the State in the Partnership regime of the public and private sectors and called it “cruel”.
He said: “The establishment of a super specialized hospital in each constituency under the same regime is even more cruel. The privatization of the medical sector must be stopped immediately. He added that the number of services oriented physicians will decrease in this model because it would be about business.
Sai Prasad said that the list of other consequences stated that treatment expenses would be increased, the number of doctors in government hospitals would be reduced and treatment would become more expensive.
