Praja Arogya Vedika (PAV) and Jan Swasthya Abhiyan (JSA) have expressed grief over the demise of S. Suresh, former general secretary of PAV.
In a press release, PAV members recalled that Mr. Suresh was a dedicated progressive activist, an intellectual and a noble human being who contributed significantly to the public health movement in Andhra Pradesh. Besides fulfilling his professional duties as a faculty member in a dental college, he was one of the key figures in the formation of Praja Arogya Vedika (PAV), the Andhra Pradesh branch of Jana Swasthya Abhiyan (JSA), they said.
