Thousands of people from Karnataka participated in Agnigunda Pravesam, a ritual held as part of Ugadi Mahotsavams where devotees walk on burning coals, at the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjun Swamy Temple in Srisailam on Wednesday (March 18). The temple management also organized a Prabhotsavam on the same day.
Agnigunda Pravesam was held at camps set up for Siva Deeksha devotees in the temple town. Veerachara Vinyasalu, performances or performances by Veerasaiva devotees were also held on the same night.
Earlier on Nandi Vahanam, gramotsavam was held for the processional deities and the idol of Goddess Bhramaramba was decorated in Maha Lakshmi alankaram.
