The Kerala Institute for Local Administration (pounds) is to introduce an ambitious educational program aimed at transforming women into strong voices in the local administration.
When the state is preparing for local elections in bodies 2025, the company announced a three -day training program exclusively for women trying to attack and promises to build their leadership, communication and administrative skills and their confidence to boldly enter electoral policy.
“We want to give them a lead – a clear picture of duties, powers and duties of elected members of the local authority before entering the political arena,” said the CEO of Kila A. Nizamudeen. “This is the building of trust, competence and clarity between women’s leaders.”

The program will take place at the same time across centers of pounds and offer training for the first 1,000 applicants to register by September 25. Every woman can log in via www.kila.ac.in
The meeting will cover everything from the foundations of local administration and electoral procedures to finer aspects of public leadership – convincing communication, public expression, time management and solving hard questions from voters. Participants will also learn to use social media responsibly and efficiently, to balance their development vision and balance the pressures of public life and personal obligations.
“Our topic is simple but strong.” The management with integrity, a change in society, “said Amrutha KPN, auxiliary director (training).” We focus on the development of personality, political sensitization and building capacities. The aim is to create female leaders who are aware of, self -confidence and ready to accept public life challenges. “
One of the most anticipated sessions is called “You know yourself, Transform yourself”, helping participants identify their strengths and develop their personal style guidance.
Members of the Faculty of Pound claim that this is not the first brush of the Institute with political care for women – women who were trained after being elected in the last local polls, scored the program for their success as Presidents Panchayat and the head of the municipal.
“Many of them told us that it was a pound training that gave them the courage and clarity to take decisions as the head of their local bodies,” the older member of the faculty revealed.
“This time we are taking a step ahead – we are preparing women before they compete. We want to interrupt the weight barrier,” the CEO said.
With 50% of local bodies reserved for women, Kila’s initiative could prove Gamechanger – to equip a new generation of women to perform, speak and control democracy from below vision and authority.
“It’s not just training,” Dr. Nizamudeen. “This is the formation of the leaders of tomorrow.”
