The Kerala Institute for the Local Administration (pounds) performed a false exercise that was organized in three centers in Chelachuvad near Cheruthoni in Idukki. According to officials, the simulated exercises are organized in conjunction with fire and rescue services, police, district disaster management (DDMA), local government, medical department and the State Electrical Council (KSEB).
The landslide prevents 11 Panchays in IDUKKI, Suchcramo, Velliyamattom, Karimannoor, Arakkowathoor, Arakkoud, Kudayathoor, Vathkuj, Mariyapuram, Vazhtope and IDUKI-Kanjikuzha.
The fashion point for the simulin drill was placed in the Chelchuvad Bus Stand stand, while the tragedy occurred in the Chelachuhuad Library Hall and the shelter was set up in the parish hall Churuli St Thomas. Part of the simulated exercise were rescue operations, primary treatment and transfer of injured persons to the hospital.
After a strong exercise Kanjikkuzhi Panchayat President Vakkachan Vayalin started a public meeting. Idukki then Ram Benoy chaired the meeting.
According to officials, false exercise tested readiness and reaction in hospitals, schools, government offices, etc.
According to officials, mockery of civil defense took place in five centers in IDUKKI. The false drill was carried out according to the direction of the central government.
