
The man claimed that the “poor” convinced him to almost spend £5.18 crore (4.3 million yuan) for unlicensed detoxification and wellness treatment in a hairdresser for two years.
According to a report from South China, Morning Post was a man, Cheng, forced to treat such as enemas and acupuncture, including wellness services, which caused him serious health problems.
The suffering reportedly began in April 2023.

Cheng claimed to meet the Salon manager, Chen, in the local hairdresser in 2023, which then invited him to open his new branch.
There he met Zha, the manager of this new salon.
According to the SCMP report, Zhou persuaded him to go up to “experience a beautician massage” and later pushed him to buy cosmetic services in the form of an account replenishment.
During his subsequent visits in the salon, however, Cheng claimed that he was constantly forced to add additional funds to his account.
“They were all young boys and girls kneeling and said they were poor and couldn’t even afford the rent relying on customers to help support their parents,” Cheng recalled.

He shared that older cosmetics would “constantly urge customers to add,” said employees earned performance -based commissions.
What services did he take?
Within two years, Cheng said he had undergone various “wellness services”, including treatment such as “Detox needle with skin” and more enema sessions on the market as “intestinal cleaning”.
Each course of treatment of enema stands around £36 Lakh (300,000 yuan).
He also remembered £6 000-7 000 (500–600) Juan on the body area and more “removal of abdominal moisture”, which stands £12 000- 24,000 (each 1,000 to 2,000 yuan).
Cheng’s Records Salon showed that one in January only in January £46.80 Lakh (388,000 yuan) and by March 30 his account balance exceeded £2.05 crore (1.7 million yuan).

After Cheng had undergone a number of these treatment procedures, he allegedly began to have serious health problems, including repeating and persistent diarrhea and unharmed needles on his skin.
He soon found that he lacks the necessary medical qualification in the salon to perform such procedures and asked for a refund.
The Salon denied the Cengo’s money, which led to reported them to the authorities.
9 July Police confirmed that in cooperation with the market supervision, an investigation into alleged unlicensed medical practices was initiated.
