Commissioner GHMC RV Karnan, who shares details with the media after the Prajavan program, reportedly stated that two water retention structures, one with a 40 capacity of Lakh liters and the other with 20 lakh liters, will be dug at the Civil Aviation Research Organization. The organization agreed to the proposal, he said.

In Begumpet it will be two surface ponds instead of underground structures, said Karnan. In order to solve the situation where the ponds will be filled, the box drain will be extended in the area so that it can transfer the water to the kukatpally drain, he said.
