When the BCCI first announced the schedule in April, concerns about the safety of organizing a test match in Delhi were raised during November for recurring questions of the city’s pollution in winter. At that time the secretary of Bcci Devyit Saikia rejected these fearswhich states that pollution in Delhi is not a year -round problem.
On Monday, June 9, however, BCCi officially updated the schedule and effectively ensured that Delhi did not manage any matches during the top winter months.
“The second test against West India, originally designed for Calcutta, will now be held at the ARUN Jaitley stadium in Nový Delhi. Meanwhile, the first test against South Africa, starting on November 14, 2025, without a specification for a reason for a change.
