The political temperature in the Pulivendul, an election district represented by the former main minister Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy, is growing, because the former allies are involved in the public war with words.
Former MLC and YSRCP leader SV Satish Kumar Reddy and TDP leader Mareddy Ravindranath Reddy (popularly known as B.Tech Ravi), also former MLC, locked the corners that dared each other to prove others.
Mr. Satish Kumar Reddy, who worked as Vice -Chairman of the Legislative Council during the TDP regime (2014–2019), was a firm rival of the YS family for decades and attacked several times against Ys Rajasekhar Reddy and Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy. His decision to change the parties and join the YSR Congress in the presence of Mr. Jagan before the elections of 2024 was a political surprise. After his departure, TDP built B.Tech Ravi as his candidate from Pulivendula.
The current line began after Mr. Satish Reddy allegedly made derogatory remarks against the Minister of Loket Education. Mr. Ravi strongly protested on the language used and warned against serious consequences – he recorded Mr. Satish as a physical threat.
In response to the accusation, Mr. Ravi rejected this claim and said that Mr. Satish was not “sufficiently significant in the election district to be considered a threat.
Although this problem seemed to have cooled, Mr. Satish ruled tensions by criticizing the state government over law and order and what he called “political witch hunting”. Mr. Ravi hit back by emphasizing his long -term connection with TDP.
Senior leader TDP and MLC BHUMIREDDY RAMAGOPAL REDDY also took the controversy and warned Mr. Satish Reddy to “repair his ways”.
