
During the rapid intervention of the police on Saturday, she saved the newborn girl to be buried alive near the village of Udhayasuriyapuram under the limits of the Panayapatti police station in Thirumayam Taluk.
According to the police, R. Vinodha was 21 years old, who was a nursing student at the nursing university in Illuppur, on Saturday morning in his house a healthy girl. Vinodha, her mother and relatives, shocked the child’s birth before her marriage, took the child to a nearby burial ground with the intention of burying him.
The older neighbor warned the local police. Inspector V. Gowri and her team threw themselves into the place and saved a child who was transported to the government’s primary health center Panayapatti for emergency care. Both infants and mother were later transferred to the government of Pudukkottai Raniyar Hospital for treatment.
Administrative official Panayapatti Village Senthil Kumar and district child clerk filed a formal police complaint.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Vinodha was in a relationship with a university student. District Officer of Children’s Protection D. Vasanth Kumar told Hindu that since her mother tried to leave the child, she was legally considered inappropriate to take care of the child. “The child is healthy and under the care of two of our employees. As soon as it is released from the hospital, the child will be handed over to a specialized adoptive agency to be properly care,” he said.
