Police team with Ganja plants that destroyed attappady.
On Tuesday, the police destroyed a large number of plants illegally cultivated for commercial profit deep inside the forests of Attappads. They said that nearly 10,000 plants, with three months of growth, were eradicated from 60 cents of land in the Pudure Forest Region.
The Ganja raid was attended by a joint team including members of the anti -terrorism group (ATS), district antimotics of Special Action Force (Dansaf) and Pudur Police Station.
They arrived at the place after they walked through the forest for about five hours. The police said that the investigation of persons involved in the cultivation and sale of Ganja was initiated. They said it was one of the largest operations Anti-Ganja Police Keral.
