The Kozhikode Municipal Police will be the Commissioners of the Commissioners – 2025 against the abuse of addictive substances at the Indian Girls’ High School of Commissioners at the Secondary School of Commissioners called “Family Knowledge Fest against drug abuse”.
“The event, which is to be launched at 9 am, is opened solely to families staying within the limits of the municipal police. Each participating team must have at least two and a maximum of four family members,” said police commissioner ARUN K. Pavathran. The questions will be based on general knowledge and the winners will be awarded attractive prizes, he added.
According to police officers who lead on the ongoing campaigns against drug awareness, the system is maintained in Kozhikode City to evaluate monthly efforts to realize drugs of different organizations. Participants earn points through special events, such as gathering awareness, marathons, cultural shows and sessions with doctors, advisors, coercive officers and those who have undergone the treatment of addicts, they said.
“We have received a good reaction from the public that recently enjoyed various theater performances, music performances, parody and flash crowds as part of campaigns with creative familiar families of different groups of youth. According to the coordinators of the district campaign, the organizers of each event will be entitled to demand 10 points. If people’s participation exceeds 50, they can claim another 5 points. Competitive events load 20 points, with 10 bonus points for more than 50 participants, they added.
