
Police snorting dog helped break the case of a robbery, including 8.95 GBP, which led to the arrest of three people in the district of Kalaburagagi, said the Superintendant of the ADDURU Srinivasal.
Srinivasal, who addressed Prespersons here, said that Sniffer Dog Rita led the police team to the thieves involved in the robbery reported in Shahabad June 22.
The police then arrested Ravi Rathad, Mahadev Rathod and Shiv Kumar Rathod, all drivers.
The accused threw himself into the Hanumanth Pandar’s house in Dhakka Tanda in Shahabad and tied all family members sari in KniFepoint and decomposed valuable ornaments and cash.
Mr. Srinivasal said that the dog group, including Rita, visited a place to trace the route bought by thieves, and Rita stopped at a place at a certain distance from the victim’s house.
The police then intensified their hunting to detain the robbers who were at the time, and arrested them near the Akkalkot in the Mahari.
They also received 135 grams of gold decorations estimated at 8.10 lakhs, 550 grams of silver were estimated at 45,000 GBP and 40,000 in cash from them.
