The Shivamogg police took security measures for the submersible process of Mahasabha Ganapathi Hindu, who will take place here on Saturday. Hundreds of people from Shivamogg and neighboring cities are expected to participate in a parade that covers many main streets of the city.
Vishwa Hindu Parishat and other Hindutva groups have put flags and accumulation of saffron and accumulation. The administration of the district of Shivamogg diverted the movement of traffic on the day to ensure a smooth procession. The procession starts at the Bheemeshware temple and ends at the Tung River, covers the main road NMP, Ramanna Shreshtri Park, Gandhi Bazar Road, Sn Circle, AA Circle, Nezru Road, Gopi Circle, Durgi Gudi, Mahaveera Circle, DVS Circle and Kote Road.
Administration banned vehicle parking on a process route. Vehicles entering the city from Bhadravathi have to go on a way to reach the bus stand. Heavy vehicles that get into the city from Chitradurg and Hollehonnur must turn towards Mrs. Circle and take the bypass. Similarly, these vehicles from Harihara and Davangere have to take a bypass over the Sangolli Rayanna Circle, Shankaramutt Circle and Holeonnur Circle.
Buses headed towards Bengalur from the bus booth must set out on the bypass and route of Mrs. Circle. Those heading for Shikaripur, Sorab, Harihar and Davangere must go on the Sagar, Alcoha Circle, Raj Kumar Circle and Bommanakate-Savallanga. The movement of vehicles was banned on Kote Road and Old Barline Road in the city.
The police organized several meetings with people from different organizations to ensure a peaceful procession. Other police forces from neighboring districts will also be deployed. Many schools in the city announced a holiday on Saturday with regard to the takeover of traffic.
