Maddur Suo Motu police registered a case against BJP CT Ravi leader for his inflammatory and provocative manifestation during Ganesha Immersion Prassion in the city.
The Inspector Shivakumar stated that the case was registered pursuant to Section 196 (1) (a). A) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, who criminalizes the support of hostility between two different groups or promotes disharmony and hatred. It was based on complaints from police officer Manjunath.
Mr. Ravi referred to a minority community and triggered historical contexts, while using inflammatory expressions indicating violence, in Maddura before the Ganesha procession.
He joined other BJP leaders who gathered in Maddura to participate in a parade that took place on Wednesday in the middle of close security. This resulted in the clashes that disrupted the immersion ceremony on Sunday, leading to tension in the city.
However, the situation was limited to normal and for Wednesday’s procession, which closed without a hinge, a strong pose of police staff was deployed. But before the start of the parade, the leader of the BJP went to the state government on the Sunday incident, and Mr. Ravi came under control for his notes that resulted in the police registered against him.
