
The Krishna Police, who organized the ongoing bandobust for the ongoing Masula Beach festival, sought the opinion of tourists on security along the Manginapudi beach on Saturday.
Police staff guarding the coast and off the shore was seen, as tourists warn in the entrance to the deeper parts of the sea. Police Superintendent R. Gangadhar Rao visited the beach and asked tourists from various places about facilities and safety.
SP ordered the naval police, swimmers, fire and SDR staff to take all measures to prevent drowning. The swimmers explained to him that ships, life jackets, ropes, dragon lights and other saving equipment were prepared.
Mr. Gangadhar Rao said that public systems and drones were organized and CCTV cameras were used to prevent crime during the beach festival.
“There was close safety on the beach and Enroute Manginapudi from Machilipatnam, especially at night, and in parking spaces,” the police said.
“The instructions were provided to carry out legs and vehicles on the beach. Security was intensified at bus and railway stations and other public places across Machilipopnam,” added Sp.
Meanwhile, SDRF and the naval police have increased the safety on the beach because more tourists are expected to participate on the last day of Sunday, the police said.
