
A special cell of the Police in Delhi revealed a connection with Pakistan in the ongoing investigation of terrorism and arrested three other suspects associated with the module.
With these new arrests, the total number of detained individuals increased to five. The first two suspects were taken into custody within the probe.

The police also received some parts used in the production of IED.
Sources said the accusations were in contact with manipulators based in Pakistan through several social media accounts that are now verified, nor reported.

According to investigators, a key member of the group, Ashraf Danish, operated a module from India and maintained contact with individuals based in Pakistan through encrypted and social media. The probe revealed that the suspects used these channels to radicalize youth in India and hire them in their network.
Police sources also said that the group also led several online groups aimed at spreading communal hatred and disruption of religious harmony.
The raids were carried out in four to five countries in the main operation against terrorism, during which, according to officials, almost eight suspects were questioned. So far, five individuals have been arrested for suspicion of activities related to terrorism, including two of the Delhi and one of Madhya Pradesh, Hyderabad and Ranchi.

One of the arrested suspects, identified as Danes, was found in the possession of a rural pistol, live ammunition and cache suspicious materials. The special cell of the Police in Delhi acquired hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfur powder, copper leaves, ball bearings, belt wires, electronic circuits, laptops, mobile phones and cash from it. Authorities believe that these items have been intended for the production of weapons and explosives.
