Chanddy Oommen, the MLA Congress, claimed on Saturday (September 6, 2025) that the police “helped create a situation” that allowed the Indian (Marxist) activists group to manipulate the state secretary of youth (YC) VP Dulkhifil in Vadakar 27 August.
Mr. Oommen told the media that the police had removed Mr. Dulkhifil’s key and claimed that he had violated the rules with one lane and that the police officer was hit by a vehicle. The MLA produced television shots with a closed circuit and said the police claim was false. Mr. Dulkhifil, also a member of the district district of Kozhikode, was reportedly attacked by CPI activists (M) on the same day after the group of democratic workers of the Youth Federation, expressed by Shafi Parambil, MP, in their protests against Rahulus Momkootathil, Palakkad MLA. Mr. Dulkhifil claimed that although he urged the police to let him go, they refused to do so.
Oommen said that the state government was found to protect police staff involved in such illegal acts, as in the case of the Congress for Youth in Kunnamemkulum. He warned that the protest would be organized if no measures were taken against them.
