Police have launched a search after a mother and three-year-old son went missing in Puttaparthi

A woman and her three-year-old son were reported missing from Puttaparthi in Sri Sathya Sai district, prompting the police to launch a search operation.

According to police, G. Sumalatha (21), a resident of Gokulam locality, left home with her son Hemanth on June 29, saying that she was taking him to a nearby vaccination center to administer polio drops.
