Police Flag Day was held at the City Armed Reserve (CAR) parade behind the Mysuru race track on Thursday.
Retired Deputy Superintendent Shanthamallappa was the chief guest at the celebrations jointly organized by Mysuru City Police, Mysuru District Police, Karnataka Police Academy, Mounted Police, KSRP and others.
Senior police officials including Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Southern Range, MB Boralingaiah, Mysuru City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar and Mysuru District Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baladandi also attended the Flag Dal.
Police Flag Day is celebrated to honor and commemorate the service of retired police officers and personnel.
