“Intimidation tactics”
Teachers reached the streets after the Supreme Court confirmed the Kalkata’s order of the High Court, which canceled the appointment of about 26,000 teachers after discrepancies in the recruitment process made by the West Bengal (WBSSC) in 2016.
The top court, while allowing teachers to continue working until the end of the year, focused on the new recruitment process. Teachers say that since their appointment was canceled due to corruption officials of the state government, they will not go to the recruitment process again.
Teachers say that police announcement is a tactic of intimidation and that such tricks will not be reflected. Teachers are agitated outside Bikash Bhawan for 12 days.
“The police do it all to intimidate us. But we are not afraid and not stop our protest. They (state government) have all corruption and now the police are summoning us. Protests that will not fight but to get justice.
