The district police in Elur use drones to monitor the situation in the rain and floods in the border villages of the Krishna-Eluru-West district over a continuous downpour in the basin.
The police said that when the neighboring telangana receives heavy rains in the villages upstream, the flood levels in the Lake Koller noted the rise of roads and many villages were cut off. “We follow the situation using drones. DSP said that Caikalur or V. Ravi Kumar, Mandavalli, Ramacandra Rao and other police officers were instructed to follow the flood situation through drones and deploy EDRF teams to accept rescue and rehabilitation operations.
“We monitor the water levels in the streams of the tamler, the ramiler, and the budmer and the polaraju and the Commiler, which flows into the Lake Koller,” said the income officer who watched the flood situation.
The roads to many island villages in Koller are immersed because the flood level grows. If the rainfall continues until Tuesday morning, more dwellings will be cut off, Ravi Kumar said Komati Lanka.
Mr. Sravan Kumar recommended the villagers not to exceed the overflowing streams. In an emergency, they are asked for the public to turn 112 or the nearby police station.
