In a significant intervention against the crime of the City Police of Mysur, it has successfully solved several main cases in the last eight months and has gained stolen assets worth 4.23 crore and 20 individuals, two of which are allegedly involved in crimes outside Karnataka.
The police cracked a total of 149 cases, including two cases of Dacoity, four extortion of cases, 21 chain incidents, 34 robbery, six burglary, 69 vehicle thefts and 13 ordinary theft incidents.
As part of the police investigation, it confiscated 5.20 kg of gold ornaments, 6.24 kg of silver cells, 13.54 Lakh in cash, 52 two wheels, nine cars and eight vehicles from the accused.
Police Commissioner SEEMA Latkar shared details with the media during the return of the property, which took place on Tuesday in the office space. The acquired items were returned to their justified owners after verifying the ownership documents. Mrs. Latkar appreciated her team and appreciated the officers and employees for their determination to deal with cases.
Representatives of Police Muthuraj and KS Sundar Raj were also present on this occasion.
The City Crime Branch (CCB) branch solved 22 cases after the arrest of four accused, leading to recovery of 62.71 Lakh, including 802.57 Gm of gold, 1.52 kg of silver, five two -round wheels, a pistol and two live bullets. Police Saraswathipuram tied two individuals, burst five cases of theft and renewed gold worth 38.82 Lakh (539,17 gm). Similarly, Alanahalli police solved 15 cases of chain reducing the arrest of four accused and recovered 190 Gm of gold ornaments worth approximately 15 lakh. Police of Nazarabad arrested one person responsible for 11 vehicle theft and restored stolen assets worth 7 lakh, of which 11 vehicles.
According to the Act on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS), Police of Mysuru registered 25 cases and arrested 52 individuals. They confiscated 224.375 kg Ganja and 96.016 GM synthetic drugs worth 57.47 Lakh.
The Police Commissioner also shared details of computer crime cases. Among those solved included four fraud/shares markets online, one work/tasks fraud, one fraud with digital arrest and one fraud with Tipline. A total of 13 people were arrested in cases.
