The Fifth Police Commission Tamil called on to a strict disciplinary proceedings against the abuse of authority, especially the brutal treatment of suspects.

False cases
The Commission stated that cases of false consequences of innocent individuals should be strictly addressed. If the disciplinary authorities have been involved in these activities, the CBCID should be assigned an investigation into these cases.

Frequent competitions between police and the public, festivals and police participation in school/university functions should be supported. The report states that consulting class should be carried out.
Identify alcoholics
Early identification of police staff dependent on alcohol/ addictive abuse and sending them for treatment would promote well -being and better public behavior.
As part of the Induction level training, steps to sensitization of power should be taken to recognize the value of life regardless of economic status. “The police need to improve their relationship to gain public confidence, and that will help them stand out at work.”
