AMRUTHAHALLI police arrested 43 -year -old Nigerian national national national and allegedly recovered from him MDMA worth £ 3.
The accused, identified as PEPE MOREPEYI, was reportedly caught by a red hand while waiting for his customers behind the school in Dasarahalli.
The probe revealed that Pepe came to Bengalur in 2023 on a work visa to sell readymade clothes and allegedly participate in selling drugs. Since then he has crossed and rented a house in Tata Nagar.
The accused allegedly confessed that he had bought drugs from another foreigner in Kammanahali, and sold MDMA to make quick money. He tries to trace his contact.
PEPE was booked according to the Act on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) and was transferred to judicial custody.
