The 23rd annual Chitra Santhe will be held on Sunday. Organized by Chitra Kala Parishath, it will be held at Kumara Krupa Road and is expected to attract a large number of visitors.
“Due to limited availability of parking spaces around Kumara Krupa Road, members of the public participating in the santhe are requested to use public transport such as BMTC buses, metro services and app-based taxis including Ola and Uber instead of private vehicles. This will help ease traffic congestion and ensure smooth running of the event,” the traffic police appealed to those planning to visit the annual art fair.
Police have banned all kinds of vehicular movement on both sides of Kumara Krupa Road, from Windsor Manor Junction to Shivananda Circle, between 5 am and 10 pm.
Vehicles coming from Mourya Junction and Anandrao Circle towards Windsor Manor should take direct route from Race View Junction via Race Course Road. Vehicles coming from T. Chowdaiah Road towards KK Road should go straight from Windsor Junction, reach Old High Grounds Junction, turn right towards Basaveshwara Junction and proceed further.
Alos, vehicles from Old High Grounds Junction towards Windsor Manor and KK Road should continue straight from Windsor Manor towards RP Road and continue.
