Authorities in the Government Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine in Kozhikode hope that his surgical super specialty, accident and emergency care, which was temporarily closed after the fire in May, could be reopened by the end of July.
According to sources, the Technical Commission is examined by the district collector Snehil Kumar Singh, who is also the chairman of the Society for the Development of the Hospital, the repair work carried out in the facility. Cleaning work is carried out in all departments, operating theaters and a section of a seven -storey building built under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Surraksha Yojana (PMssy).
The first focus of the fire happened in the UPS room scan MRI on the ground floor on May 2 after the batteries exploded one by one. All patients had to be evacuated to safety. The MRI unit was repaired and new batteries were installed. Electrical equipment and air conditioning are also examined on different floors. The hospital authorities had to cause the anger of patients and people on May 5. During the inspection, another focus was reported in one of the operating theaters in one of the operating theaters. This was soon after some evacuated patients were redinated to the building. The block has been temporarily closed since then. The authorities later decided to go to complete the equipment and electrical connection before re -opening the device.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the electric wing of the public work (PWD) and HLL-Hites, the public company that built the building, emphasized the gross forfeiture in the infrastructure and the maintenance of the block. On different floors and overloaded nature of UPS rooms, references to water leaks appeared.
The head official in the hospital on Saturday (July 19) told the Hindus that he was planning to “reopen the building first”. There was a test drive of equipment and electric tools. The final decision on the date of re -opening would be entered by the Directorate of Medical Education after consultation with the government, he added.
