
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to appeal to two independent assemblies in Imphal and Churachandpur, two of the flash points of violence, which rooted the state for more than two years, during his likely manipure visit this weekend, reported on September 10.
Officials said the Governor of Ajay Kumar Bhalla manipure met with at least five MLA Kuki-Zo in Churachandpur on Tuesday. The meeting comes before the probable visit of PM 13. September.

In Imphal there are preparations for PM to approach the crowd in the historic fortress of Kangla.
On Tuesday, Governor Bhalla met with Mlas Ngursanglur Sanate, Vungzagin Valte, L Haolienlal Haolienlal Haokip, along with the President of the Churachandpur BJP Thanglam Haokip, in the deputy of the Commissioner’s office said PTI.
All the MLA are from constituencies in the districts of Churachandpur and Pherzawl.
Sources said the meeting, which began around 11:00, discussed matters related to preparing for a probable visit to the Prime Minister.
On Sunday, Bhall also met at least 20 BJP MLA of Imphal Valley, including the former main Minister of N Biren Singh and the Party Party, Shard Devi.
