
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was launched by Kartavya Bhavan on Path Kartava in Delhi, part of the central transformation of Vista. Together with the Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar, PM Modi looked at the building.
The Bhavan-03 is the first of the several upcoming Common Central Secretariat buildings that are designed to streamline administrative processes.
PM Modi also dealt with workers involved in the construction of Kartava Bhawan after launching the first of the ten upcoming joint buildings of the secretariat for bureaucracy.
O Kartvaya Bhavan
Kartavya Bhavan is one of the first 10 buildings on a common central secretariat (CCS), which started PM modim. It is part of the wider transformation of Central Vista.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (HUA) plans to build ten buildings within CCS.
Two buildings in construction, numbered 2 and 3 are expected to be completed by next month. Meanwhile, it is assumed that construction on CCS 10 will be completed by April of the following year.
The construction of CCS 6 and 7 buildings will be completed by October 2026.
On Tuesday, the Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar announced that offices currently operating from four Bhawans will be temporarily moved to four new locations to Gandhi Marg, Mino Road and Netai Palace.
It is expected that several buildings, including the newly built National Museum, the National Archives, Jawaharal Nezru Bhawan (Ministry of Outdoor Affairs) and dr. Ambedcar Auditorium. Vanijya Bhawan will also be maintained.
As part of the central plan of remediation Vista, the government has already built a new parliament building, Vice President Enclave, and rebuilt the path of Kartavya from Vijay Chowk to India Gate.
Together with the CCS, the government will build a powerful enclave that can accommodate the new Office of the Prime Minister (PMO), the Cabinet Secretariat, the Indian House and the Secretariat of the National Security Council.
