The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (July 18, 2025) killed the Congress Trinamool (TMC) for defending the development of West Bengal, and also claimed that TMC tried to protect the culprits in Mursing’s rape in the hospital of RG Kar.
PM Modi, which focuses on the program in the industrial city of Durgapur, criticizes TMC said the party “acts like a wall in the development of Bengal”.

PM Modi addressed the lack of development in Bengal and promised to change the scenario into the Durgapur Rally.
“BJP is trying to make Bengal’s developed state. Bengal was once the center of development, but the situation is completely different today. Young now has to leave Bengal to look for jobs in other countries. The sectors are closing and there is no development in Bengal;
“If BJP creates a government in Bengal, it will change the state into the highest industrial area in the country. Once TMC is excluded, there will be a real change in Bengal. said.
“TMC” GOONDA TAX “will stop investing in West Bengal,” Prime Minister Modi said.
“BJP governments respect the Bengali language across the country; BJP governments respect Bengal’s identity and pride, but anyone is not a citizen of India, it will be solved by law,” he said.
PM Modi reveals development projects in Bengal
PM Modi has launched a number of £ 5,400 development projects in West Bengal and revealed the main initiatives across oil and gas, energy, rail and roads aimed at increasing infrastructure, connection and clean energy in the region.
He said the world today is discussing India’s determination to become a developed nation and continued transformation of the country’s infrastructure is a key pillar of this vision.
“Today, the whole world is discussing determination for developed India. Behind this is visible changes in which the building of the developed India is being built. The main aspect of these changes is India’s infrastructure,” said the Prime Minister.
Modi reiterated the vision of his government about “One Nation, One Gas Grid”, said that the Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga project was conceptualized to ensure fair access to energy and stimulate industrial growth throughout East India.
During the daily events, PM laid the cornerstone for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) (BPCL) 1,950 GBP-CRORE CITY DISTRIBUTION PROJECT in Bankura and Purulia districts. The aim of the project is to supply natural gas (PNG) to households and industries and compressed natural gas (CNG) in retail stores and generate employment in the region.
He also devoted himself to the nation, 1,190 GBP-Crore Durgapur-Kolkata (132 km) Durgapur-Haldia, under the initiative of Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga (PMUG). Purba Bardhan, Hooghly and Nadia are expected to go through the Purba Bardhan, Hooghly and Nadia and will benefit people with stable and clean natural gas supply.
Continuation of the Center for Clean Energy, PM Modi Reserved gas gas deny systems (FGD) supplemented in Durgapur Steel and Raghunathpur at Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). The aim of systems that are built for combined costs for more than 1,457 GBP Crore is to reduce industrial emissions and improve air quality in the region.
In the railway sector, the Prime Minister inaugurated the 36 km of the Purulia-Kotshila railway line, completed for more than 390 GBP.
