Over the past 11 years, he said that the infrastructure budget has increased more than six times. Decongesting Delhi
Two projects – part of the Dwar Expressway and Urban Extension Road 2 – are part of a comprehensive government plan to relieve capital and improve connectivity.
10.1 km of the Dwar Expressway section was built at the price of around £5 360 crore. The section will also provide a multimodal connection to Yashobhoomi, DMRC Blue Line and Orange Line, the upcoming Bijwasan and Dwar Cluster Bus Depot. 19 km Haryana Section of the Dwar Motorway was launched in March 2024.

Modi also inaugurated Alipur on Dichaon Kalan Stretch of Urban Extension Road 2 along with new links to Bahadurgarh and Sonipat, built at the price of Aroujnd £5 580 crore. Its aim is to alleviate traffic to Delhi on inner and outer circular roads and busy points such as Mukarba Chowk, Dhaula Kuan and NH-09. The new Spurs will provide direct access to Bahadurgarh and Sonipat, improve industrial connectivity, reduce urban traffic and speed up the movement of goods in NCR.
