Turkey, Azerbaijanian boycott
The strong boycott movement movement in India gained strength after Turkey and Azerbaijan allegedly supported Pakistan during the recent conflict. Indian tour operators have withdrawn promotional packages to both countries, social media argue with boycotting calls, and many Indian tourists cancel their travel plans for these destinations. The license of the Turkish company Celebi was withdrawn at Indian airports.
“Sindoor surgery began with the power of our armed forces on the night of 6 May and will now proceed with the power of people,” Modi said. “Every citizen must become a partner in the development of the country,” he added.
Modi said that government initiatives such as “Vocal for Local” and “One District One Product” (ODOP) would lead to domestic products. He added that the Indians should focus on using domestic products, except for those that are not made locally and must be imported.
