
New Delhi: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the northeast on Friday as “the most diverse part of our diverse nation” and welcomed it as a new Indian growth module, and inaugurated the summit in the northeast in Nový Delhi.
Modi said that in an interview with the assembly of the creators of politicians, investors and leaders in the field, he stated that the region, which once considers only a border, now appears as a pioneer in national development.
“For us, East is not just a direction. For us, East means to seize, strengthen and transform,” said the Prime Minister, emphasizing the focus of the government on infrastructure and linking to unlocking the economic potential in the northeast.

“From the store to tradition, from textiles to tourism, the diversity of the northeast is its strength. Northeast means bioeconomics, bamboo, tea production, oil, sport, skill, developing ecotourism and the new world for environmental products.
Jyotiraditya M. Scindia supported this vision with numbers, he said that the government’s permanent efforts have led to historical transformation over the last decade.
“It is our own prime minister who has increased gross budget support from 10%in the last ten years to allow almost investment £6.75 Lakh Crore in the northeastern region, ”said Scindia, calling it a game converter that redefined the growth trajectory of the region and turned it into a country of opportunities.
Even before the Prime Minister’s address, leaders of industry announced large investment obligations that could transform the economy of the region. Chairman and CEO of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani promised £75,000 crore in the next five years, focused on agriculture, telecommunications, digital services and development of local enterprises.

“In the northeast we see huge potential and we are determined to contribute to its transformation into a modern economic zone,” Ambani said.
Adani Gautam Adani Chairman also announced another £50,000 Investments of Crore in the next decade in green energy, roads and digital infrastructure on top £50,000 Crore has already committed itself to Assam at the beginning of this year.
“Our expansion in the northeast prefers local jobs, local business and community involvement,” Adani said, emphasizing the focus of the group on sustainable and inclusive development.
Chairman of the Group of Vedanta Anil Agarwal announced another £30 000 crore investment in the northeast that is expanding to the previous company £50,000 Crore commitments to Assam. Fresh investment will include oil and gas, critical minerals, energy, data centers and renewable energy throughout ARUNACHAL PRADESH, NAGALAND, Tripura, Meghalaya and Mizoram.
With a complete obligation £80,000 crore, Vedanta expects to generate up to 100,000 jobs in the region. Agarwal said that the northeast – rich in natural and human resources – quickly appears as a key growth engine under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

The summit means the main pivot in the interest of the Insvestor to the northeast, which has long been considered strategic but insufficiently developed. With government support and increasing enterprises, it is now located as a corridor for growth, innovation and green transformation.
