PM Modi meets members of the Indian diaspora in Seychelles

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with members of the Indian diaspora in Seychelles on Monday (June 29, 2026).

Mr. Modi held discussions with a group of people from the Indian diaspora and also took pictures with them in Victoria.

PM Modi is currently on a three-day visit to Seychelles where he held extensive talks with Seychelles President Patrick Herminio.

On Sunday (June 28, 2026), Mr. Modi attended the golden jubilee celebrations of Seychelles National Day as the guest of honour.

India and Seychelles are currently celebrating 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

At a special ceremony, Prime Minister Modi was awarded the title of “Guardian of the Blue Horizon” by President Herminio for his green leadership and efforts to advance the interests of developing countries and his long-standing commitment to promoting the blue economy.

Mr Modi is scheduled to fly to India on Monday (June 29, 2026).
