
Vance in India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met on April 21 with the Vice President of the United States, JD Vance. The American vice president was accompanied by the second lady of USha Vance, their children and higher members of the US administration.

Prime Minister and Vice President Vance reviewed and positively assessed progress in various areas of bilateral cooperation, the statement said
“They welcomed significant progress in negotiations on mutually beneficial bilateral trade agreements in India-USA focused on the well-being of both countries. They also saw a constant effort to strengthen cooperation in energy, defense, strategic technologies and other areas,” he said.
The meeting comes when both nations negotiate to complete the bilateral trade agreement in India and the US US in the middle of the mutual tariffs of President Donald Trump, which is currently stopping until July. At the end of this month, the India team can visit Washington DC to discuss the business agreement with American officials.
Vance, his family and the team, landed in Nový Delhi on Monday morning on a four -day visit to India.

The government statement stated that both leaders also exchanged views on various regional and global questions of mutual interest and demanded dialogue and diplomacy as a way forward.
Vance’s visit to India also comes in the middle of recent deportations of illegal Indian immigrants in pilgrims and cancellation of student visas.

The Prime Minister expanded his best wishes to the vice president, the second lady and their children to a pleasant and productive stay in India.

PM Modi hosted Vance’s family and accompanying US officials for dinner after a formal meeting.
Later at night Vance will travel to Jaipur for his orders 22. April. Is scheduled to visit Agra 23 April. Vance’s visit to India will end on Thursday 24th April with his departure from the ground at 6.40 am
