The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (July 28) was appreciated by the Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar for his powerful manifestation in Lok Sabha about Sindoor surgery and stated that he successfully handed over the Indian fortress against terrorism to the global community.
“Eam Dr. Jaishankar was excellent,” PM Modi wrote on x (formerly Twitter). “He stressed how the world clearly heard the Indian view of the fight against the threat of terrorism through the Sindoor operation.”
Sindoor and Global Support Operation
Jaishankar spoke during the discussion in parliament, said the Indian fast and decisive military response to the terrorist attack from Pahalgam 22. April gained stunning international support. Only three out of 193 UN Member States opposed the Sindoor operation, he said.
“There was a huge support that the country that was attacked had the right to defend itself,” he told the parliament.
Jaishankar Hails Operation Sindoor as “New Normal” in Indian Fight against Terror
Jaishankar said the Indian military reaction to the panelgam attack, which killed 26 Hindu pilgrims, means a strategic shift.
“The challenge of cross -border terrorism continues, but the Sindoor Operation denotes a new phase. Now there is a new normal,” said Jaishankar, outlining the five -point doctrine of India about solving terrorism from the border.
“New Normal” in the Indian Terrorist Reaction
Five elements of this new approach according to Jaishankar include:
- Terrorists will not be considered proxy.
- Cross -border terrorism will be met with a suitable reaction.
- There will be no interviews except terrorism.
- India will not be given nuclear blackmail.
- Terror and good neighborhoods cannot exist coexistence-“blood and water cannot flow together.”
Diplomatic foundations and military determination
Jaishankar said the government made high -level phone calls before the Sindoor operation started. He said that when the US Vice President warned against a massive Pakistani retaliation, Prime Minister Modi firmly said that India would respond, if attacked, react with full force.
Airstrikes and a ceasefire
On May 7, India was opened by Sindoor Operation – a number of accurate strikes in terrorist camps in Pakistan and POK. Jaishankar confirmed that India also retained at Pakistan’s aggression by pounding its air base.
Clarification of Trump’s claim
He also faced the claim of US President Donald Trump, who repeatedly said he was using business interviews to convey a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Jaishankar insisted that there was no connection between diplomatic trade discussions and a decision to stop hostility, which was coordinated directly between two militarists via DGMO.
The ceasefire came after Pakistan, according to Jaishankar, formally communicated his willingness to end hostility through DGMO.
“May 10. We received calls that Pakistan wanted to stop fighting … This request went through the DGMO channel, not through Washington.”
Refuses Trump’s business claim
Jaishankar pushed back against the repeated statement of US President Donald Trump that he had mediated trade as a leverage.
“There was no connection with trade in any stage, in any interview with the United States,” Jaishankar explained.
He said Trump and PM Modi spoke only on April 22 and again on June 17 – and not on the days of active hostility.
Congress Slams Government, Jaishankar will hit back
The Jaishankara’s answer was to the leader of the Gaurav Gogoi congress, who attacked the government over Trump’s notes and quoted his demands on the ceasefire.
Indian global diplomacy in action
Jaishankar said Indian diplomacy was working on building global support for Indian defense rights. He noticed that 27 calls and almost 20 from PM Modi, except 35-40 letters about support. He said that we were marked by the Resistance queue (TRF) as a global terrorist group for India’s efforts.

Indus waters contract held in failure
Jaishankar said that the Cabinet Committee for Security decided to suspend an Indus Waters contract until Pakistan stops the support of terrorism.
“It was very clear that after these steps, the Indian response to the panelgam attack would not stop. Our approach of foreign policy approach was to shape a global understanding of the attack of Pahalgam,” he said.
