Congress on Sunday (June 8, 2025) accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “scripting” of his media interactions and said that, unlike his predecessors, he lacks the courage to accommodate “unconnected” press meetings.
In the X post, the General Secretary of the Jairam Ramesh said that leaders around the world sometimes hold the press conferences freewheeling, but “ours has no 11 years”.
“Narendra Modi produced, directed, and scripted his media interaction-running one during the election campaign last year, of which he claimed it was non-non-non-non-non-non-fisted.
“This is in complete contrast to all its predecessors. His favorite hatred was a spontaneous press meets almost every other month, where he would be ruthlessly questioned, and patiently answered.
Congress focuses on PM Modi that he has not failed the media since he took the highest place in 2014.
