Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (April 16, 2025) identified the inauguration of Amravati airport and said it was a report for Maharashtra, especially for the Vidarbha region.
“Great news for the Maharashtra, especially the Visarbha region. Active Airport in Amravati will strengthen trade and connection,” PM Modi said in post X, responding to the post of Minister of Civil Aviation AA Union Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarap.

The Minister of the Union for Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naida launched Amravati Airport on Wednesday on Wednesday in the presence of the main Minister Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis and DDEPUTY CMS EKNATH Shinde and Ajit Pawar. Mr. Naida said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Airport Amravati funded by RCS-VGF, he took his first flight between Amravati and Mumbai.

The Union government has also taken several steps to provide food friendly food at airports in India. Last month, the Minister of Trade Unions Ram Mohan Naida launched a café, Yatri at Chennai airport.
The first café Udan Yatri was inaugurated in December last year at the airport in Calcutta. Estimated passenger demand is now expanding to the nationwide level and soon the Yatri Cafe device will be launched at Delhi Airport.
CEO of Dial of Videos Kumar Jaipuriar said on Wednesday during media interaction that they are taking place in the process of opening the café Udaan Yatri at the airport in Delhi in favor of passengers.
