Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (May 3, 2025) congratulated Anthony Albanes for his significant victory and re -election as an Australian prime minister and said he was looking forward to working with him to further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership in India.
Mr. Albanese became the first Australian Prime Minister to win the second three -year period in 21 years.
“Congratulations to @albomp to your significant victory and re -election as Prime Minister Australia! This strong mandate suggests the permanent faith of the Australian people in your leadership,” Modi said on X.
“I look forward to working on further deepening of a comprehensive strategic partnership in India and Australia and progress in our common vision of peace, stability and prosperity in Indo-Pacific,” he said.
