
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) at 7 pm on Wednesday to discuss developments in the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Others, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, will also attend the meeting, which comes amid prevailing uncertainty in West Asia following the US-Israeli attack on Iran that began on February 28.
Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security to review the situation, ongoing and proposed mitigating measures in relation to the ongoing West Asian conflict.
In a meeting on March 22, the Cabinet Minister detailed the global situation and the mitigating measures taken and planned so far by all the concerned Ministries/Departments of the Government of India.
