Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday (May 6, 2025) claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi canceled his cashmere visit after “receiving the news report three days before” the terrorist attack of Pahalgam last month.
He also claimed that the Center had accepted the “intelligence failure” at a meeting of all parties and stated that it should be responsible for “non -proximity” of security measures in Kashmir to protect humans.

“I got information that three days before the attack was sent the news report Modi Ji, and therefore Modi canceled her visit to Kashmir … When the news reports that there is not right visit there for your security, why not detect your security, news, local police and border forces to protect people?
Twenty -six people, mostly tourists, were killed on April 22 in the terrorist attack of Pahalgam.
Congress Head dealt with the assembly “Samvidhan Bachao” in Jharkhand’s capital and said, “During the meeting of all parties you (PM modi) admitted that there was a news error.” “The center should not be responsible for losing life in the attack of Pahalgam when it accepted the failure of news,” he asked.
He announced that Congress was behind the center of “any action against Pakistan after an attack on the hillgam” because the country is “the highest and behind the party, religion and caste”.
