
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit China for the Shanghai organization Summit (SCO) Summit (SCO), the Economic Times report on 16 July.
This will be the first visit to PM Modi in China after, after the 2020 military resignation in Galwan along the real inspection line (LAC) in the eastern Ladak, they got under serious voltage 2020.

The visit will be due to the efforts of India and China to improve bilateral ties.

SCO Summit 31. August to September 1
The Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday that the leaders of more than 20 countries and the head of 10 international organizations will participate in the Tianjin Summit next month in Shanghai Cooperation (SCO) and related events.
The SCO Tianjin Summit will take place from August 31 to September, Wang said during a joint press meeting with the Secretary -General of SCO Nurlan Yerkbayev, Xinhua said.
In addition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin and other SCO Member States are expected to participate in the summit.
Jaishankar meets XI
The Minister of the External Affairs Jaishankar met with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday as part of the Foreign Ministers delegation attended by the SCO session. The visit to Jaishankar in China is expected to place the foundations for the expected visit of PM Modi in Beijing at the SCO leaders.
“Alum, President XI of the recent development of our two -sided ties,” said Jaishankar in a post on X, accompanied by his picture, which shook his hands with XI.

Jaishankar arrived in China after closing his visit to Singapore, his first trip to China in five years.
On Monday, Jaishankar met the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing. Both leaders spoke of the need for a much visible approach to bilateral ties. Jaishankar told his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi that the neighbors have made “good progress” in the last nine months in normalization relationships and added that it is crucial to avoid limiting business measures and roadblocks.
Jaishankar said that India and China should now consider de-schooling the situation along LAC after the last nine months have achieved “good progress” in normalization of bilateral links, PTI news agency reported.
Jaishankar also met the Chinese vice -president Han Zheng in Beijing 14 July.
The Galwan Standoff Valley in 2020 between India and China was the worst borders for more than 40 years, resulting in the death of soldiers on both sides. The incident sharply escaped tension and brought bilateral links to the historical minimum.

The decision to revive the SR dialogue and other sleeping channels was reportedly taken during a short exchange between PM Modi and President Xi Jinping on the edge of the summit in Russia in Kazan in October last year. After almost five years, there were several flashes of positive movement, especially the renewal of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
Modi in Japan in August
PM Modi is expected to be Japan at the end of August, where Shiger Ishiba will meet.
A visit to PM Modi in Japan would be his first since May 2023, when he participated in a group of seven summit in Hiroshima, Western Japan.
