
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued the 20th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) of Varanasi. Payment employment benefits more than 9.7 crore farmers across the country, approximately £20 500 crore, through direct transfer of benefits (DBT).
PM Modi was opened in 2019 by the PM-Kisan system in 2019, which complements the financial needs of farmers with land holding. Under the scheme, £6,000 per year in financial advantages are transferred in three same installments into bank accounts assembled by Aadhaar farmers through DBT mode.
Since 2019, £3.69 Lakh Crore was converted to farmers’ accounts through 19 installments. Previously the 19th installment PM-Kisana was released on February 24 at Bihar’s Bhagalpur. This event has witnessed more than 9.8 Crore farmers across the country that received direct financial benefits, which represents more than £22 000 crore.
PM-KISAN scheme target:
A) its aim is to supplement the financial needs of the SMF in obtaining various inputs to ensure the right health of crops and appropriate revenues, which corresponds to the expected income of agriculture at the end of each cycle of crops.

Step 3: Click “Recipient Status”
Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number or account number.
Step 5: Click “Get Data”
Step 6: View the status of the recipient.
Step 7: Check the status of payments.

PM-KISAN function:
A) Each part of the scheme – Jan Dhan accounts, Aadhaar and Mobile Phones – works online.
b) After registration, agricultural land is verified digitally and the money is sent directly to their bank accounts.
c) The scheme also inspired new tools like Kisan Emitra, Voice Chatbot and Agristack.
d) PM-Kisan’s mobile application was launched on February 24, 2020. Later in 2023, the application was launched with another “face verification function”. This allowed long-distance farmers to perform e-scanning by scanning their face without OTP or fingerprints.
e) AI Chatbot was launched for the PM-Kisan diagram in 2023. AI Chatbot provides farmers fast, clear and accurate responses to their questions.
f) AI Chatbot, accessible through the PM Kisan mobile application, is integrated with Bhashini, which offers multilingual support and provides linguistic and regional diversity of PM Kisan recipients.
