Plus two results: Thrissur records 82.09% pass rate

Thrissur district recorded an overall pass percentage of 82.09 in the Plus Two Higher Secondary Examinations this year. Out of 31,801 students who appeared for the exam in 193 schools, 26,107 qualified for higher studies. A total of 2,753 students secured A+ in all subjects.

In the intermediate technical stream, the district recorded a pass percentage of 56.67, with 17 out of 30 students qualifying.

The Open School category recorded a success rate of 42.89. Of the 1,224 students who applied, 525 qualified for higher studies and 17 students achieved A+ in all subjects.

In Higher Secondary Vocational Education (VHSE), the district achieved a pass percentage of 76.82 with 1,703 out of 2,217 students qualifying. Government VHSS Kunnamkulam (Deaf) and Aryampadam Sarvodaya VHSS recorded 100% pass.

Kerala Kalamandalam Arts Higher Secondary School recorded a pass percentage of 82.54 with 52 out of 63 students qualifying. Two students got A+ in all subjects.
