Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) will be opened by four -year -old B. SC. (Agri.) Course in cooperation with Western Sydney University (WSU), Australia, from the academic year 2025-26 in addition to the current courses offered in B. SC. (Hons.) In agriculture and science of community A B. Tech in the field of food and technology and agriculture.
Vice -Chairman of the University Professor Aldas Janaiah said on Sunday that the new B. SC. (Agri.) The course to be offered in cooperation with WSU could be studied for three years in Pjtau and four years in WSU, Australia. In the case of students who are interested in completing the postgraduate course M. SC. (Agri.) They would be obliged to study for another year on the WSU.
Students would receive B. SC. Certificate of grade from PJTAU and M. SC. PG certificate from WSU. Those interested in persecution of ph. D. after M.Sc. He could do this on WSU without any fee. He stated that an agreement would soon be signed between the two universities. The courses offered by the WSU were also recognized by the Indian Agricultural Research Council (ICAR).
The Vice -Chairman stated that the announcement of admission to the new course would soon be issued. Congratulations to those who qualified and secured the EAPT-2025 series, Professor Janaiah told the students that the university had increased regular and special chairs quotas and reduced the PJTau course fee. He also warned parents of agricultural courses offered by some private institutions without recognition of ICAR.
